Miamani Fortura

Identity & Editorial Design

Working in collaboration with an artist during the planning stages of her exhibition, I was tasked with creating a cohesive visual identity for the supporting materials. This included cards, flyers, tote bags, website, and a book showcasing her exploration of mediums and materiality throughout her artistic journey.

The designs incorporated visual elements that reflected the artist’s aesthetic and vision for the project. This included a colour palette, typography, and simple layouts, with the addition of ASCII art illustrations echoing her work, created by using the chosen typeface, and featured on the tote bag and for her name on the book and cards.
